Home Security Tip : Noise in the garage.

I read your page on fitting a door viewer. I use mine every time I have to go to the door, I wouldn't be without it.

I have also fitted one on the connecting door to the garage. Not that anyone is going to knock on that but I often hear noises. The noise is usually some animal scratching or walking across the garage roof, but with the viewer I can look to see and make sure, and I do not have to open the door. It puts my mind at ease.

Hi Benny,

Thanks very much for sharing your home security tip, it's a good one.

Garage doors are inherently weak and often the burglar's choice for breaking in.

If you hear noises you will want to know the cause and your tip gives an easy way to do that safely.
